Cadwell will be discussing and signing his bestseller, The Lesson, at the Zappala College Center on La Roche University. The Lesson has been described as “persuasively-almost musically-worded meditation on colonialism and whether it's really possible to return home again” by Kirkus Reviews. Cadwell’s writing has been compared to Octavia Butler and Emily St. John Madel.
