Amye Archer and Loren Kleinman have gathered letters, essays, and stories into the book If I Don't Make It, I Love You; a powerful look back at over 50 years of school shootings. I Don’t Make It, I Love You collects more than sixty narratives from school shooting survivors, family members, and community leaders covering shootings in America, from the 1966 UT-Austin Tower shooting through May 2018’s Santa Fe shooting.
Join us for a discussion on the impact of gun violence by hearing the voices of those most directly affected by the school shootings: the survivors. Their words will be read aloud by local high school drama students.
This event is co-hosted by the Pittsburgh chapter of Moms Demand Action.
